NOTE: I break my rule of this project by writing in excess of 123 words instead of the usual 108.
In this poignant film, an upper middle-class suburban man and his family capture and crucify the titular feral Woman, in a way signifying how unsustainable American suburbia crucifies our human nature. I will probably some day write hundreds if not thousands of words on the theme of this film and maybe do a report on the book. The actors in this movie, especially Sean Bridgers (what a prick heel), portray their roles as slices of Americana brilliantly. To say that I thoroughly enjoyed this film, which does its best to compare the life of the “modern American family” with the wild woman they keep captive, is an understatement. Although it is not perfect, it is one of the best films I have seen in the past two weeks.
