BRAINS~! One of the original zom coms by one of the co-creators of Night of the Living Dead (Russo), “Return” is a very entertaining film. When two employees at a medical supply store accidentally cause a leak in a tanker filled with one of the zombies that supposedly inspired the aforementioned George Romero film, all hell breaks loose in Louisville. Most of the gags in the film have aged well. The make up and special effects work to create the zombies were phenomenal. Most of the gore that was in the movie made sense. And Linnea Quigley’s charismatic cemetery dance lived up to the hype.
