NOTE:  I go off on a tangent and past my 108 word limit again.

This is definitely not your parents’ Dark Shadows.  I would be remissed not to tell a fan of the show, that it barely resembles either edition of the televised program.  I was especially frustrated with Eva Green’s role as Angelique; she had neither the sweet voice or showed the bewitching gaze of the Lara Parker iteration).  Then I remembered that the show had alternate realities so I just envisioned it as the Earth-1 Trillion universe.  It was an average film with great visuals and Johnny Depp was once again witty.  In all honesty if the movie was not entitled Dark Shadows or was given the subtitle,” Another Life,” I would have felt less negative about it though my brother, another fan, still thought it was a shitstorm.
