Creepshow does not feel like the same movie I watched as a 10 year old.  The segments I once loved   no longer feel as well paced as they did.  However, the final two segments made up for it.  It was a mostly well written anthology (thanks to Stephen King) with the superb acting skills of Leslie Nielsen et all.   Tom Savini’s special effects were once again a-grade.  And one can definitely see how it both captured the spirit of EC and DC horror comics, and inspired the later weekly 30-minute horror TV programs like the revamped Tales from the Crypt.
