Livide was a good sophomoric try by filmmakers Bustillo and Mary, who were lauded for their first project, Inside.  Criticized for being not gory enough and not eerie enough, I beg to differ on these two points.  The atmosphere of the film was perfectly creepy due to the set, the music, lighting, and visual effects.  Although less blood and guts than say Home Sick, there was a sensible amount of bleeding.   My gripe is the the last 20 minutes which were convoluted and somewhat hokey in parts.  But the movie projected itself as a big title and not a B or weekend afternoon flick.  I give:
